About repronews.com

Repronews.com is the online database of fakes and reproductions. It began in 1992 as the monthly printed newsletter, Antique & Collectors Reproduction News. After over 12 years of producing the black and white printed edition, the full color database was launched in December 2004.

The online database includes all the past articles plus continuous updates on the latest fakes and reproductions as they are discovered. At the time of launch, the datbase included over 950 articles and reports with over 7,060 photos and illustrations. Additional research material is also included such as patents from various foreign countries and an extensive marks library.

Articles are searchable with standard search engine techniques. Articles can also be browsed by title with an A to Z list . Subscribers may print articles for personal use on your home or office computer. Color photos and illustrations will print in color on color printers.

Articles are researched and prepared by repronews.com staff in consultation with leading collectors, dealers, clubs and institutions.

The monthly newsletter was begun by publisher Mark Chervenka who continues to manage the online database.
